About Me

I’m Shalom Lee-Ramsbottom, a creative arts psychotherapist specialising in dramatherapy, and founder of Inner-Gold Therapies. I’m a Londoner of African and West-Indian heritage, living and practising in Poole, Dorset.

My professional background is in the performing arts, and I qualified from the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art, before enjoying a 20 year career in theatre, film and TV, and the music industry. After that, I trained at the University of Roehampton, graduating with a master’s degree in dramatherapy.

In addition to my private practice, I work in schools, psychiatric hospitals and mental health services with people of all ages. I offer group and individual sessions in all these settings.

The essence of my work with clients is to gradually build a therapeutic relationship. I believe this is the foundation on which true healing and connection can develop, offering the potential for a successful therapy experience. My motivation is to support the reinforcement of authentic self-esteem and confidence in all who choose to journey with Inner-Gold Therapies in order to achieve their goals.
